Meat We raise our animals in a natural, free-range environment. We use no growth hormones or antibiotics, and their food comes almost exclusively from our fenced pastures and hay fields. Our elk herd is accredited, certified, and CWD tested, and all our meat is USDA inspected.
Elk meat is lean and juicy, extremely high in protein and very low in cholesterol. It has very little fat: 0.7 to 1.0%. That is less than skinless, boneless chicken or turkey. Since elk is so lean, shrinkage during cooking is minimal. Generally, serving sizes of about 6 ounces per person is usually sufficient.
Our farm-raised elk meat is available in familiar cuts, such as steaks, loins, medallions, burgers, sausages and roasts. Our elk has a rich, slightly sweet flavor that is milder than wild game.

Regretfully, we do not ship meat. The cost of shipping via FedX or UPS for overnight delivery of frozen meat often costs more than the meat itself, and we have had several instances in the past of lost (and therefore, ruined) shipments. It just isn’t worth it, either for our customers or us.
